1. Eligibility & User Conduct

• Anyone can create an account and organize competitions.
• Users must not:
  • Cheat, spam, impersonate others, or post offensive/nude content.
  • Misuse the platform for fraudulent activities..
• Bank account name of users must be same as full name used during sign up.
• To delete or change a payout account, a request must be made from the account settings. This request must go through an approval process by our team.

2. Content Ownership

• Users retain ownership of their uploaded content (photos, videos, posts).
• By participating in competitions, you grant VieOff a limited right to use competition-related content (e.g., participation highlights, media) for promotional purposes on social media or other platforms.

3. Payments, Tickets & Refunds

• Creating an account and organizing competitions is free.
• A minimum cash prize of NGN 5,000 must be funded before a competition can begin.
• When you fund a prize, the payment fee (from Paystack) is deducted.
• Competitions may require tickets, which participants must purchase.
• If a transaction fails on our platform but your bank account is debited, please contact your bank directly to initiate a reversal. We do not have control over bank-side issues.
• Tickets will not be refunded or returned due to claims of cheating or dissatisfaction with competition results. All competition outcomes are final.

• Tickets are used to:
  1. Become a participant in a competition.
  2. Score a participation in a competition (by voting or taking a quiz).
• Tickets are sold in discounted packages (larger packages are cheaper per ticket).
• Ticket usage is tracked via a ticket balance page.

• All ticket purchases and package payments are final. We do not offer refunds once a transaction has been completed, regardless of usage or participation.
• If a competition is cancelled:
  • Unused tickets are returned to participants' ticket balances.
  • Prize funds are refunded to the organizer (a refund fee may apply).

4. Earnings & Payouts

• Organizers earn NGN 10 per ticket used in their competitions.
• Winners earn a portion of the prize pool, divided equally among all first-place participants. (Note: Competitions currently have one round and one winning position.)
• Winnings are distributed by rounding down to the nearest two decimal places. For example, NGN 2,000.9389 will be paid as NGN 2,000.93. Any residual amount due to rounding remains the property of the platform.

• VieOff collects bank account details (account name and number) for payouts.
• Payouts are processed every Monday, provided the earnings balance is at least NGN 1,000.
• Payouts have a maximum amount of NGN 500,000 per week.
• Payouts cannot be requested manually. If a Monday is missed, payouts may happen on another day.
• Earnings are tracked via an earnings balance page.
• Tickets and prize funds can also be purchased using funds from your earnings balance.

5. Competitions & Invites

• Competitions can be joined by invitation:
  • Organizers can invite participants.
  • Users can request to join if the competition allows it.
• Competition has only one round so if there is a tie for first position which is the only position to get a prize for now, the prize is divided amongst all the participants at position one. So you might not always get the full cash prize from a competition.
• Each competition has:
  • One organizer (the creator).
  • Two or more participants (the competitors). Organizers may also participate.

6. Organization Accounts

• Organization accounts have three roles:
  1. Administrator: can manage settings and invite members.
  2. Fallback: receives email messages and earnings payouts if no organization-specific details are provided.
  3. Representative: participates in competitions on behalf of the organization.
• Organization membership is invite-only.

7. Usernames

• Every account has a unique username.
• A default username is auto-generated during sign-up based on the user's name. It can be changed in account settings.

8. Account Security

• Users are responsible for keeping their credentials secure.
• VieOff will never request your password via email.

9. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, regardless of where you access the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these terms at any time.
• Updates may take effect immediately or with notice.
• We may notify users via email or update this page.
