  • What is a Vie?

    A Vie is a competition or challenge on the VieOff platform. The word "vie" means to compete and that's exactly what Vies are about.

    Each Vie can include creative tasks like short videos, quizzes, design entries, or other fun challenges. Whether you're hosting or participating, a Vie is your chance to showcase talent, engage others, and earn real rewards.

  • How do I earn?
    You can earn in two main ways:
    1. Organizing Competitions: You earn NGN 10 for every ticket used in your competition.
    2. Winning Competitions: The prize pool is split equally among all winners at the top position (if there's a tie).
  • When do I receive my earnings?
    • Payouts are made every Monday, if your earnings are NGN 1,000 or more.
    • You cannot request a payout manually.
    • If Monday is missed, payout may happen on another day.
  • Where is my earnings payout sent?

    Payouts are sent to the bank account details (account name & number) you provide in your account settings. This can be a personal or organizational account.

  • What are tickets?
    A ticket is our digital product that can be used to perform key actions on VieOff:
    • Enter a competition as a participant
    • Score participation, either by voting or completing a quiz
  • What payment methods are available?
    • Card and bank transfer via Paystack
    • You can also pay from your earnings balance
  • Who can create a Vie?

    Any individual or organization with an active account.

  • What prizes are given to Vie winners?

    Only cash prizes are supported at this time.

  • What is the minimum cash prize for a Vie?

    The minimum cash prize is NGN 5,000. This amount must be funded before participants can join a Vie.

  • When do I receive my prize?

    All Vie prizes must be funded (deposited with VieOff) this is to ensure prize security. Once a Vie ends, the prizes are disburse amongst the winners into their earnings balance

  • What happens if a Vie is cancelled?
    • All tickets used in that Vie are returned to the owning accounts.
    • The organizer gets a refund of their prize funds, minus a refund fee of NGN 1,000.
  • What happens in case of a tie between Vie participants?

    Vies have one round only. If multiple participants tie for the top position, the prize is evenly split amongst them.
